Make a Difference: Alleyway Project

What is the aim of the project?

Our aim is to improve the local environment by transforming a rundown fly-tipped alleyway into a clean and welcoming space that residents can feel proud of and to bring local people together to celebrate their collective efforts.

Why should I get involved?

Transforming the alleyway isn't just about fixing up a rundown space for local people. It is about building a sense of community, encouraging pride in the neighbourhood, creating a safer and more welcoming environment for everyone, and showing what can be achieved when the community comes together with a shared purpose.

How can I help?

We'll meet at 10:00 AM on Saturday, 19th July 2025 outside 285 Brettenham Road, N18 2HF. Whether you have practical skills to offer or just plenty of enthusiasm, there is a role for everyone.

You can help by:

  • Taking part in the alleyway clean-up and transformation

  • Volunteering your skills (painting, repairs, gardening, crafts)

  • Donating materials, plants, or supplies

  • Spreading the word and encouraging others to join in

No experience is needed — simply click here to register your interest to help make a difference with us.

Let's Celebrate

After the transformation is complete, we’ll move into celebration mode from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Expect a fun afternoon with:
