Audience with Cllr Kate Anolue: Honouring a Trailblazer
The Black Heritage Hub is delighted to host an “Audience with Cllr Kate Anolue: Honouring a Trailblazer”. For Black History Month, we have curated a series of events that celebrates the life and achievements of residents living or working in the borough of Enfield. For our Black History Month discussion we are honouring a remarkable woman, Cllr Kate Anolue - Former Mayor of Enfield.

Born in Enugu, Nigeria, Kate's early life was marked by a strong sense of community and a passion for helping others. Her educational background in Nursing laid the foundation for her career in healthcare, where she demonstrated compassion and care for those in need.

Kate's entry into politics was driven by her desire to address the issues affecting Enfield's residents. As a dedicated councillor and two-time Mayor of Enfield, she advocated for improved public services, community development, and social welfare.

Beyond her official roles, Kate has been deeply involved in various community initiatives, championing causes related to education, healthcare access, and cultural awareness.
Join us on the evening of Tuesday, 31st October 2023, at The Living Room Library, 109 - 111 Fore St, London N18 2XF, as we celebrate the extraordinary life and achievements of Kate Anolue. The event promises to be a memorable evening of inspiration, reflection, and community engagement.
