Councillor Margaret Greer, Mayor of Enfield 2025-26

Proudly supported by the Mayor of Enfield

We are truly honoured that the new Mayor of Enfield, Councillor Margaret Greer, has chosen Enfield Black Heritage Hub as one of her charitable organisations for the year, alongside Enfield Sickle Cell Society and Macmillan Cancer Support.

At her official Mayor Making ceremony on 14 May 2025 Councillor Margaret Greer was officially inducted as Mayor of Enfield, becoming the first Black woman of Caribbean heritage to hold this prestigious office. She shared her heartfelt support, saying:

“Community is not just about where we live; it’s about how we support, uplift and empower each other through healthy living, well-being, and access to services that meet our cultural needs and activities.”

Each year, the Mayor of Enfield selects charities to support during their time in office, both by promoting them and raising funds. The three organisations reflect the Mayor’s commitment to supporting, uplifting and empowering the community through healthy living, well-being, and access to culturally relevant services and activities.

There will be opportunities to donate and show your support at events and participating in activities throughout her year in office.
